Enthusiasts and Commercial vendors may purchase banners displayed throughout this site at the top and bottom of key pages to advertise their products.  Banner ads help cover hosting and development fees for this site, and also provide support for the site owner’s home cockpit project.

Site banners should be JPG images of 690px by 100px in size. 

Banner prices are as follows:

Enthusiasts: For 30 days a Top Banner costs $10, Bottom Banner $5
Commercial Vendors: For 30 days a Top Banner costs $25, Bottom Banner $10

You may purchase a top and/or bottom banner for 30 days at a time for a reasonable fee by following the steps below:
 

1. 1. You must be a registered member to purchase a banner.  If you are not already a member click the "Sign In" link at the top right of any page to register, or click here.
2. 2. Once you have signed up and your account has been activated, log into your account by clicking the "Sign In" link at the top right of the site pages and log in with the account details you registered with.
3. 3. Once logged in, click the My Banners link in the left menu, or if the left menu is not visible, click on your account name at the top right of the site and choose My Banners from the dropdown.
4. 4. If you have not yet purchased a banner, click the self-explanatory link to purchase a banner.
5. 5. Choose a banner package depending on the placement you want the banner to be.  Higher visibility banners, such as those at the top of the page, cost more than those at the bottom of the page.  Click Next.
6. 6. Give your banner a name, ensure the Banner Box and Banner Types are correct for the package you have chosen.  Enter the full URL link where you want the banner to redirect to when clicked on (e.g. htps://...).  Click Next.
7. 7. Click on the gray banner to open a file prompt and upload your JPG banner from your local computer, then click Next.
8. 8. Finally choose your payment method (currently only PayPal) and follow the remaining steps as indicated to complete the transaction.
9. 9. Once payment has been accepted the ad will go into a pending state until the site administrator reviews and approves the ad, usually within 24-48 business hours.  If there is a problem, you will be notified by the site administrator to correct the problem or you will be issued a refund if the issue is not able to be corrected.

If you have an existing banner ad, you can edit your ad by following these steps:
 

1. 1. Perform steps 2 and 3 above to log into your account and visit the My Banners page.
2. 2. Once on the My Banners page you will see the ads you have purchased.  You can edit/replace, renew, or remove the ad as needed.
3. 3. After you have made changes, the ad will go into a pending state and the site owner will review and approve or deny the update within 24-48 business hours.
